Kep Crab Market.

We made a brief trip to the seaside village of Kep on the tail end of a relaxing visit to Kampot. Having been before, I was keen to sit down and watch business at the crab market, known as ‘Psaa G’dam’. As the low sun silhouetted Bokor Mountain in the distance, sellers lifted the big baskets out of the water every time a potential buyer came. If you wish, you can then get your fresh catch of crab cooked for you in the adjacent market. This place is famous for it’s seafood, and after haggling it’s so cheap that you could feed an extended family full for less than ten dollars.
